Who Are The Speakers, Anyway?

Before you come and see the discussion, it will be good for y'all to know our speakers. Here are they:


Screening In Day 1
14th November 2011

Speaker:
Aimee Dawis, P.hD
She's a lecturer in Department of Communication  & Department of Literature Universitas Indonesia  for graduate students in the following courses: Cultural Studies, Research Methods and Methodology, Ethnography, Postmodernism, and Media and Identity. She's also contributing in Center For Minority Gender and Human Rights. She's also an author of book The Chinese of Indonesia and Their Search for Identity: The Relationship Between Collective Memory and the Media


Filmmaker:
Dodid Widjanarko
He's a documentary-film maker, and some of his films are 'God Is Love', 'A Land : The Land of Justice', and he's also a Co. Director Documentary Ethnographic with Naked Eye Research London, 2011. He's also have become speakers in documentary workshop for NGO Demokrasi in Papua and for Universitas Atmajaya in Yogyakarta.

Speaker:
Jajang C. Noer
Known as Indonesian senior actress, she has starred many top-rated Indonesian movies, such as Eliana, Eliana (2002), Berbagi Suami (2006), Laskar Pelangi (2008), and 7 Hati 7 Wanita 7 Cinta (2010). She also have a serious concern in Indonesian culture

Filmmaker:
Jason Iskandar
Start his career as documentary movie-maker in 2007, he has produced some documentary and fiction movies. Some of his achievement are Special Mention for Exploration of Medium di The First Asia Africa International Film Festival 2010 and Best Asian Short Movie in Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival 2010
